The Black Stars of Ghana have emerged as the second-best African country with the best passing at the just-ended 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The four-time African country were ranked the lowest ahead of the Mundial and also presented the youngest squad.

Pitched in Group H, the Black Stars recorded a win against South Korea in their second group opener.

In their opener, Ghana suffered a 3-2 defeat against Portugal.

In their final group game, the Black Stars needed a draw against Uruguay to book a place at the last 16 of the tournament.

However, Ghana suffered a 2-0 defeat against the South American side to finish at the bottom of the group with three points.

Despite the early exit of the Mundial, Ghana have emerged as the second-best team with the best passing accuracy with 1139 passes which amount to 80.2%.

Morocco, who became the first African country to play in the semifinals of the tournament had 2649 passes which also amounts to 80.7%.

Senegal, who played in the last 16 had 1522 passes. Cameroon and Tunisia who also exited at the group phase 1133 passes and 1183 respectively.
