Ghana forward, Joseph Paintsil is convinced the senior national team, the Black Stars has enough quality to secure qualification to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The 2022 World Cup qualifiers were scheduled to start the qualifiers in June but due to the Covid19, it has been scheduled for September later this year.

Ghana will face Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and South Africa in the first round of the qualifiers.

And according to Paintsil is confident the Black Stars will qualify if they work as a team.

“For me, we have good players and a higher chance of qualifying for the World Cup if we do well," he told Citi TV.

“We have good players and I think we are going to have a good tournament.

“It all depends on the players and the management, we need to come together and work as a team and go out there to deliver," he added.

After failing to qualify for the 2018 edition of the FIFA World Cup tournament, the Black Stars will be hoping to redeem themselves and book a spot in the 2022 edition in Qatar.
