Aseidu, who previously played for Berekum Chelsea, signed with the Porcupine Warriors after an impressive season where he featured in 23 games and provided one assist in the Ghana Premier League.

The 21-year-old defender penned a three-year deal with Asante Kotoko after successfully passing his mandatory medical on Friday afternoon.

Patrick Aseidu is set to compete with Sudan's Esmat Abdulhamid for the left-back position in the upcoming season.

"I have looked forward to this moment for a long time when I was a kid I travel with my father from Koforidua to come and watch football here. I remember telling my father that one day I will join Kumasi Asante Kotoko it is something I have waited for it for a long time," he added.

Aseidu is expected to bolster Asante Kotoko's defense in the upcoming 2024/25 season. He will join his new teammates to prepare for the season and is likely to feature in the club's friendly game against Medeama next month.
