Asante Kotoko assistant coach David Ocloo has reacted to the penalty decision against Medeama in the Ghana Premier League week 11 clash.
The Porcupine Warriors inflicted a 1-0 win over the Yellow and Mauves to end their three game losing streak in the Ghana top-flight.
Kotoko were awarded a penalty in the 60th minute and Sheriff Mohammed converted to hand his outfit victory at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
A section of the Ghanaian football fanatics has raised concerns about the penalty incident during the game but Ocloo insists it was a clear penalty.
“It was a clear penalty” he told StarTimes after the game.
The former Hearts of Oak coach went on to praise his players for their outstanding performance against Medeama.
“The players did marvelously well against Medeama. You could see that they wanted it more and we won it” he said.
Kotoko are now out of the relegation zone following their triumph over the defending champions.
With 13 points, the Porcupine Warriors are 12th on the Ghana Premier League with 13 points.
