Guinean goalkeeper Mohammed Camara has revealed Amos Frimpong’s influence after sealing a move to Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper joins the Porcupine Warriors on a two-year deal from Soar Academy.
Camara becomes the Ghanaian giants tenth signing in the ongoing summer transfer window. He joins Emmanuel Antwi, Albert Amoah, Elvis Kyei Baffour and other players to have joined the club.
Meanwhile, Camara is the fourth player from the African continent to join the Porcupine Warriors this window.
Frimpong, who is a former captain of Kotoko had stint in Guinea, featuring for CI Kamsar after departing the Porcupine Warriors.
“Amos had a lot of very good things to say about the club; the supporters, the supportive environment, and the ambition to achieve success. This convinced me that Asante Kotoko is the right place for me to continue my career,” Camara said.
The goalkeeper, who made an impressive 26 appearances last season for Soar Academy, brings both talent and experience to our squad.
He will be a valuable asset for the Ghanaian giants considering his exploits last season with Soar Academy.
Kotoko are desperate to make amends in the upcoming season following a disappointing performance last term, where the Porcupine Warriors finished sixth on the league log.
