The Phobians have had an inconsistent campaign since the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League commenced. In what was a Match Week 14 fixture yesterday, the home team outplayed and outscored the way team.

Joseph Esso's first-half strike handed Hearts of Oak the lead before the first half break. In the second half, Benjamin Afutu bagged a brace while winger Daniel Afriyie Barnieh added the icing on the cake in the dying minutes of the second half.
