After retiring, he has ventured into coaching where he has now landed a gig to play a technical director role for the Yellow and Mauve.

“Medeama SC would like to announce the appointment of Seth Ablade as the club's new Technical Director.

“He has signed a three-year contract with the Mauve and Yellows. Welcome to Tarkwa!,” Medeama SC announced on their Twitter page on Friday.

Coach Seth Ablade is taking over the role which has become vacant at Medeama SC since the departure of Augustine Evans Adotey in 2017.

He immediately starts work and will hope Medeama SC finishes with the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the 2020/2021 season if possible.
