Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have intensified preparations for their encounter against Samartex FC this weekend.
Nicknamed the Porcupine Warriors, the team will take on Samartex FC at home on Sunday, April 21, in a Week 27 game of the Ghana Premier League season.
Today, the Asante Kotoko team led by head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum had the chance to step up training to prepare for the upcoming contest.
The game between Asante Kotoko and Samartex FC will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
After going seven matches without a win, the Kumasi-based club is eager to get the victory.
Another defeat will push Asante Kotoko closer to the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Samartex FC are keen on winning this weekend to stay at the top of the Ghana Premier League table.
