The Eagles hosted their matchday opponent at the Selhurst Park looking to record another victory to make it back to back wins.

Unfortunately for them, they had a bad start after center-back Mamadou Sakho sent off just 16 minutes into the first half.

That setback forced manager Roy Hodgson to bring on Jeffrey Schlupp to replace left-back Patrick Van Aanholt.

The Black Stars man went on to score the decisive winning goal of the match to hand Crystal Palace a big win over AFC Bournemouth.

In a Twitter post after the match, Schlupp has shared, “Great team performance and win tonight under the lights at Selhurst Park! Back to back Wins& goals”.
