South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Stellenbosch FC have secured the signing of promising Ghanaian defender, Prince Annor Amponsah, on a long-term contract, as confirmed by the club on its website.

The 18-year-old center-back, who honed his skills at the Scores Football Academy in Ghana before a brief stint at the Ubuntu FC Academy, impressed the club's scouts with his standout performances.

His exceptional talent earned him the opportunity to undergo a trial with Stellenbosch FC.

During his trial period, Amponsah exhibited his defensive prowess while being part of the club's U-21 side that traveled to India to compete in the Premier League's international NextGen tournament.

His eye-catching displays at the tournament played a pivotal role in helping the team secure a commendable second-place finish.

Following his remarkable performances, Stellenbosch FC was quick to secure the young Ghanaian's services, offering him a professional contract to join the club's ranks.
