English Championship side Swansea City are eagerly anticipating the fitness update of Black Stars captain Andre Ayew after suffering a last minute injury against Sao Tome and Principe.

The former Marseille man played a key role as Ghana recorded a 3-1 victory over their opponents in Accra but before the final whistle, Ayew clashed with his marker and had to be helped off by the medical team.
But, according to reports, the midfielder will be ready to feature for his club in the near future.

He missed the AFCON qualifiers tie against South Africa due to COVID-19 restrictions but became available for the clash against Sao Tome and Principe.
