Nations FC coach Kasim Mingle says his outfit triumphed over Aduana Stars because they were the better side.

The Premier League debutants secured a 2-1 win over Aduana Stars in the week 14 clash played at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Nations FC extended their winning streak to five games following their triumph over Aduana Stars.

The home team shot into the lead through Barimah Baah in the 45th minute mark as they went to recess with the advantage.

Nafiu Sulemana doubled the advantage for the host two minutes into the second half before Justus Torsutsey reduced the deficit for Aduana Stars in injury time.

“Before the game, I told you it’s going to be a difficult match because they are the league leaders. On paper, I told you they have the advantage but we are going to play them and the better side will win and that’s what exactly has happened, we were the better side and we’ve won”

Nations FC are currently 5th on the Ghana Premier League table with 23 points whiles Aduana Stars drops to the second spot with 24 points.
