Assistant coach of Ghana's Black Satellites, Fatawu Salifu, has assured fans of a high level of football from the team.

The coach's remarks come ahead of their opening match against Congo, scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Speaking to GFA Communications, Salifu expressed his confidence in the team's ability to deliver impressive performances against all their opponents. "We are targeting the trophy but of course with good performance," he stated.

The Black Satellites are drawn in Group A, where they will face off against Congo in their opening game, followed by matches against The Gambia and Benin. The team's primary objective is to secure a place in the semi-final stage of the competition.
