Desmond Ofei, the head coach of the Black Satellites, has voiced unwavering confidence in his team's readiness as they approach the final stages of preparation for the 13th African Games Male competition.

With the tournament scheduled to take place from March 8th to March 23rd, 2024, Ofei emphasized the dedication and determination of his players as they intensify their training regimen in Cape Coast.

Speaking from the training ground in Cape Coast, Ofei highlighted the significance of this final hurdle in the lead-up to the tournament.

“The journey has been positive, there have been a lot of positives because I think the team is progressing really nicely," coach Ofei said after Tuesday’s training session.

“We are in the final hurdle towards the tournament.

“You know the past three weeks, we have been in the in Prampram and then we have been working really hard now here in Cape Coast.

“We are in the final stages for preparation and everything is going smoothly. Working in football has a lot of challenges but we must stay focused why because we know what is at stake,"
