20/21 Ghana Premier League: Bechem United beat Inter Allies FC 2-1 on the road

An impressive performance from Bechem United has seen the team post a 2-1 win over Inter Allies FC in the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season today.

The two clubs were in action at the Accra Sports Stadium today for a clash on Matchday five of the new campaign.

Despite both teams playing well in the first half, neither could score and had to go into the break on level pegging.

Six minutes into the second half, Bechem United FC was awarded a penalty kick with Moro Salifu converting to give the away team the lead.

The improved performance from Inter Allies that followed saw the side restoring parity in the 64th minute when Paul Abanga converted from the spot.

With the game heading for a draw, Bechem United upped their game and pushed for an equalizer to merit all three points.

In the 83rd minute, star man Wontah Hafiz Konkoni scored with a fine effort to seal a 2-1 win for Bechem United at the end of the 90 minutes.
