20/21 Ghana Premier League matchday 21: King Faisal record important 1-0 win against Inter Allies in relegation battle
King Faisal FC on Sunday afternoon defeated Inter Allies FC 1-0 to boost their chances of escaping relegation at the end of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
The two teams have been unimpressive since the league season started and as a result are rooted in the relegation zone.
While they battle to climb out of the red zone, Inter Allies FC and King Faisal today locked horns to fight for three important points.
Following a very good start to the game in the first half, King Faisal managed to take the lead in the 15th minute courtesy of an equalizer from Zubairu Ibrahim.
Although Inter Allies FC will come in strong after going behind, the efforts of the team in the remainder of the contest especially in the second half could not produce a goal.
As a result, King Faisal have recorded an important 1-0 win in their fight to escape relegation.
