Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs put up a spirited performance on Saturday afternoon to come from behind to defeat Liberty Professionals 2-1 in the Ghana Premier League.

The Crabs visited the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park today to honour a date on matchday nine of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

Starting off on a bright note, Liberty Professional took an early lead in the 16th minute when Abraham Wayo found the back of the Ebusua Dwarfs with a good effort.

Unable to hold on to that lead, the away team grew in confidence and pushed forward to search for the equalizer.

In the 38th minute, a headed goal from Asamoah Ohene Michael restored parity for Ebusua Dwarfs to ensure the two teams went into the break on level pegging.

After recess, an action-packed encounter that ensued between the clubs saw Ebusua Dwarfs bagging all three points after Sumiala Imoro netted the winning goal in the 83rd minute.
