2019/20 Ghana Premier League Match Week 5: Yahaya Mohammed score again as Aduana Stars beat Legon Cities FC

Experienced striker Yahaya Mohammed managed to get his named on the scoresheet this afternoon, to help Aduana Stars defeat Legon Cities FC 2-0.

The two top-flight clubs locked horns at the Tarkwa Akoon Community Park in a Match Week 5 fixture of the ongoing 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

The visitors, Legon Cities FC gave the Dormaa-based club a good run for their money as they stayed compact to keep them at bay. Despite the impressive performance, Aduana Stars came in strong at the latter part of the half to score through Yahaya Mohammed.

From there, the Royal Club had their moments but could not convert them into goals. The first half of the encounter eventually came to a close with Yahaya's equalizer the only difference between the two teams.

A pulsating match between Aduana Stars and Legon Cities FC in the second half produced just one goal. A late goal from experienced midfielder Noah Amartey piled more misery on Legon Cities FC who continue to chase a first win of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

Yahaya Mohammed now has 6 goals after making 5 appearances for Aduana Stars and remains top of the top scorer's chart of the division.
