2019/20 Ghana Premier League Matchday 11 Report: Late Samuel Bioh strike hands Aduana Stars victory against Kotoko

Published on: 19 February 2020

Following a pulsating encounter at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park, a late Samuel Bioh strike has handed Aduana Stars a vital 1-0 win against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The defending champions locked horns with the record league champions this afternoon in a match week 11 fixture of the ongoing 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

A good start from the Dormaa-based side saw the club getting into dangerous positions to score. However, Yahaya Mohammed who was at the end of the opportunities failed to hit the back of the net.

Later in the game, the Porcupine Warriors also had their moment and could have equally equalized but for the compact defending of the home team.

It was all ding dong affair in the second half as both clubs continued their search for a goal to ensure they amassed all points at the end of the 90 minutes.

The goal will not come until the dying minutes when Samuel Bioh finished off a well-worked move from Aduana Stars. At that point, there was not getting back into the match as the home team cruised to an important win.
