2022/23 Ghana Premier League: Week 13 Match Report - Karela United 1-0 Aduana Stars
Karela United are back on track after beating log leaders Aduana Stars in matchday 13 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Pride of the West made the home advantage count after inflicting a 1-0 win over the fire boys at the Crosby Awuah memorial Park on Sunday.
Prior to the game, Karela United had not won any of their last five matches in the domestic top-flight.
But the win against Aduana Stars propelled the home team to return to winning ways.
Despite creating numerous goal scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net.
After the break, Karela United looked purposeful and subsequently grabbed the opening goal through Evans Adomako, who scored in the 78th minute mark.
Despite the defeat, Aduana Stars are still on the summit of the table with 24 points after 13 matches into the campaign.
Meanwhile, Karela United are 15th on the table with 16 points.
