Berekum Chelsea defeated Dreams FC 1-0 in their matchday 14 encounter in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon at the Golden City Park,
In the early exchanges, both teams passed well and battled to control the game, especially in the middle of the park.
Dreams FC sent in a decent cross into the box but the host cleared out of danger. The visitors started dominating play but Berekum Chelsea stop any attempt to get close to their box.
In the 32nd minute, Berekum Chelsea broke the deadlock. Kusi Pandrous found his way into the Dreams FC box and scored.
Abdul Aziz Issah got the chance to equalize for Dreams FC through a free kick but his strike missed the goal by an inch.
Coach Karim Zito brought on Gael Aholou Avocevou and Wisdom Yevu to replace David Van Dijk and Abdul Aziz Issah. Michelle Sarpong replaced Ishmael Dede.
After five minutes of added time, the referee whistled for full time.
Berekum Chelsea is 9th with 19 points on the league table and Dreams FC is 11th with 19 points.
The Blue and White will take on Nsoatreman in their next league game while Dreams FC will play Aduana Stars.
