2023/24 Ghana Premier League week 20: Bechem United 1-0 Samartex - Report
Bechem United are back to winning ways after beating league leaders FC Samartex 1-0 at the Nana Fosu Gyebour Park on Sunday in match week 20 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
It is now back to back defeats for Samartex after also losing 1-0 to Nations FC at home last week - when the Hunters also lost 1-0 to Nsoatreman in Bechem.
The win means Bechem United move 9th to 10th temporarily with 29 points while the defeat does not impact the position of FC Samartex as they are still first on the league log with 35 points, just two ahead of Aduana FC.
The game was decided after three minutes into the game when Joseph Kinful netted the only goal of the game to win all three points for for the hosts.
There were no further goal in the game as the game ended 1-0 in favour of Bechem United.
Bechem United take on Legon Cities in their next game while Samartex play Nsoatreman in week 21.
