Premier League champions, Medeama Sporting Club will return to action this weekend after having their last two matches postponed.

In what will be a Week 20 encounter, the Yellow and Mauve outfit will lock horns with Nations Football Club.

Form Guide:

Nations Football Club will be hosting the upcoming contest at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Although the club is only playing in its first season, the side is doing well and even has a chance of winning the title at the end of the season.

With nine wins, three draws, and six defeats, Nations Football Club currently sits 4th in the Ghana Premier League standings.

In the last five matches of the team, they have won three games and are unbeaten since the start of the second round of the league.

The opponent for this weekend, Medeama Sporting Club heads into this game determined to secure three points at all cost.

The team from Tarkwa has not been doing well this season and has crashed out of the CAF Champions League as well.

In the Ghana Premier League, Medeama SC before the end of the first half only won one game in their last five games.

Trailing league leaders Samartex FC by 10 points, the league champions need to fight for every point in the remaining games to stand any chance of defending the league.

Head-to-head:

The only Ghana Premier League fixture played between Medeama SC and Nations FC ended with the current defending league champions securing a 1-0 win.

That game was played in the first round of the ongoing season.

Despite being a stronger team, Medeama SC will face a daunting task when the team takes on Nations FC this weekend.

Match details:

The upcoming game between Nations FC and Medeama Sporting Club will be played on Monday, March 11.

The match will kick off at 3 pm at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
