2023/24 Ghana Premier League week 29: Bibiani GoldStars 1-1 Bechem United – Report
Bibiani Gold Stars played out a 1-0 at the Dun’s Park against Bechem United on Sunday in match week 29 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
The draw means the visitors remain seventh with 41 points while Gold Stars also sit tenth with 40 points.
The first half of the game as tight, with chances of scoring goals not coming the way of both teams and it eventually ended in a goalless draw.
The story was much the same in the second period despite the home coach calling on the experienced duo of Abednego Tetteh and Appiah Maccarthy, and also Emmanuel Appau.
There were still no goals, hence the game looked to be heading for a goalless draw in Samreboi, but it was not to be.
Emmanuel Annor popped up with the first goal of the game for Bechem in the 86th minute.
But the home side got the equalizer late in the game to end it 1-1.
Bibiani Gold Stars’ next Ghana Premier League week 30 game is against Nsoatreman FC at the Nana Kromansah Park in Samreboi.
Meanwhile, the visiting Bechem United will now play as hosts to Dreams FC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park as they continue to strive for a place in the top four.
