2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup: Black Princesses determined to make a mark in Colombia
Black Princesses attacker Mafia Nyame says he and his teammates are determined to make a mark at the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
The team is currently in Cape Coast preparing for the much-anticipated tournament scheduled for next month in the South American country.
Ghana are paired with former champions, Japan, Austria and New Zealand in Group E.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, Mafia Nyame expressed the team is poised to make a mark at the tournament.
“I’m excited to be back to the national team. It’s an honour to represent the nation. I’m not going to take this opportunity for granted. We are going make a mark at the World Cup. We are praying to qualify from the group stage and make the nation proud” he said.
The 11th edition of the FIAF U20 Women’s World Cup has been scheduled for Columbia from August 31 to September 22, 2024.
