2024 WAFU B Cup of Nations: Ghana to face Cote d'Ivoire in opening game

The WAFU Zone B secretariat has unveiled the schedule for the U-17 Cup of Nations, Accra 2024, revealing an array of thrilling matches set to kick off on May 15, 2024.

The tournament will open with a clash between host nation Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra.

The Black Starlets will then take on Benin in their second group game on May 21 as they aim to qualify for the AFCON.

Following this, on May 16, 2024, defending champions Nigeria will lock horns with Burkina Faso in what promises to be another intense encounter.

Additionally, Togo and Niger will face off on Matchday Two, adding to the excitement of the competition.

Spanning from May 15 to May 29, 2024, the WAFU Zone B U-17 Cup of Nations will unfold at the University of Ghana Stadium.

The tournament features a lineup of formidable teams including reigning champions Nigeria, host nation Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, Benin, Niger, Togo, and Burkina Faso.

These teams will vie for the prestigious title and a chance to secure a spot in the upcoming TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
