The head coach of Accra Lions, Coach Ibrahim Tanko was left displeased on Friday afternoon after his side lost 1-0 to Nations FC in the Ghana Premier League.

The Week 30 game between Nations FC and Accra Lions was played at Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex today.

A solitary strike from Barimah Baah handed the hosts the narrow win at the end of the 90 minutes.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Coach Ibrahim Tanko bemoaned how his Accra Lions side was intimidated by the home team.

"The performance was good but the intimidation was too much. I don’t want to say anything because now if you say anything you will get punished,” Coach Tanko bemoaned.

Despite his disappointment, the coach congratulated Nations FC for the victory.

“I congratulate Nations FC they but us and they have three points,” Coach Ibrahim Tanko said.

After the win, Nations FC are now second on the Ghana Premier League standings.
