Addo Sowah vows to take every opportunity at Hearts of Oak

Defender Robert Addo Sowah has revealed, he wants to grab every opportunity available to him at the club to reach the levels of a world-class defender.

Addo Sowah who joined the Accra based club in 2017, was a key figure at the heart of the Phobians backline during the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season which has been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking to Hearts Media the 26-year old said

“At Hearts of Oak, there are many opportunities that a player can take advantage of and history has taught us that those who played with a blissful heart for the club, went on to do great things for themselves in their future endeavors,”

“The club will give you opportunities to play in big games both in Ghana and on the African continent and, I am looking forward especially to playing in the CAF Champions League with Hearts of Oak to showcase more of my talent,” he added.

The defender who joined the Phobians from Prampram based Uncle T United has made 41 appearances for Hearts of Oak scoring once, said he is looking forward to the resumption of football.

“I like playing in the big games and I am readying myself for some big days ahead knowing the club and the supporters will back us to do more for Hearts as we seek to win on all fronts," he concluded
