Aduana Stars coach Yaw Acheampong has expressed satisfaction with the performance of his players despite defeat against Nations FC in the Ghana Premier League.

The Abrankese-based club prevailed in the much-anticipated encounter on Saturday after inflicting a 2-1 win over the Ogya Boys in the week 14 of the Ghanaian top-flight at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Nations FC extended their winning streak to five games following their triumph over Aduana Stars.

Nafiu Sulemana doubled the advantage for the host two minutes into the second half before Justus Torsutsey reduced the deficit for Aduana Stars in injury time.

“I think the second half was okay with us, I don’t have to talk much but I’m happy that my players played very well. We had a better second half than the first half, we will go back and see what to do next” he said.

Nations FC are currently 5th on the Ghana Premier League table with 23 points whiles Aduana Stars drops to the second spot with 24 points.
