Aduana Stars midfielder Kwame Adom Frimpong cites Fatigue and complacency for club’s failure to win GPL title
Aduana Stars midfielder, Kwame Adom Frimpong has blamed fatigue and complacency for the club’s inability to win the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League title.
The Ogya Boys came close to clinching the league title but a dip in form towards the end of the season cost them the ultimate.
The two-time Ghana Premier League winners stayed on top of the league for several months before falling short to Medeama, the eventual winners of the title.
Speaking on Kessben FM, the former Asante Kotoko player attributed the club’s inability to win the title to fatigue and complacency.
“I will say fatigue and complacency set in. And you know in football, the more complacency sets in, then the results change. So, the complacency was clearly seen in our performance as we couldn’t get the results we needed.”
Adom Frimpong made 30 appearances and netted 3 goals for his team last season.
