Aduana Stars striker Isaac Mintah is sidelined for the remainder of 2023

In a significant blow to Aduana Stars' aspirations in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, star striker Isaac Mintah has been sidelined for the remainder of the year due to a hamstring injury sustained during a tense MTN FA Cup clash against Berekum Chelsea at the Nana Agyemang Badu stadium.

The prolific forward, who is also the league's top scorer, will be sorely missed after contributing nine goals and three assists in just 12 appearances.

The injury, assessed by team doctors, has ruled him out of action until 2024, leaving Aduana FC to navigate a crucial period without their key attacking force.

Mintah's absence was keenly felt in Aduana's recent 1-0 victory over Hearts of Oak in a Week 13 encounter, highlighting the void his injury has created in the team's frontline.

On match week 14 Aduana Stars was beaten 2-1 by Nations FC at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Aduana Stars is 2nd on the league table with 24 points after 14 games.
