Anderlecht is continuing talks with PSV Eindhoven this week to wrap up a deal to sign Dutch-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Derrick Luckassen.
The versatile defender spent the 2019/2020 football season on loan with the Belgian Jupiler Pro League giants.
Though he suffered an injury setback before the campaign was ended with a game to spare as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, he still managed to impress as he established himself as a key asset for the Purple and White outfit.
He has returned to PSV but has stressed that he has no intention of playing for the club even though he has 2 more years left on his current contract.
As reported by footballghana.com a few weeks ago, Anderlecht wants to sign Derrick Luckassen and has open negotiations with PSV and his agent Mino Raiola.
Due to financial challenges caused as a result of the Covid-19 crisis, the Belgians are considering another loan deal in case they are unable to meet the demands of the Dutch Eredivisie side.
