Mikel Arteta says he will continue to show emotion on the touchline despite receiving a one-match ban.
The Gunners boss will not be in the dugout for Arsenal's trip to Aston Villa on Saturday after he picked up his third yellow card of the season in Tuesday's dramatic 4-3 win over Luton.
Arteta was judged to have celebrated excessively by referee Samuel Barrott after Declan Rice's late winner.
"I don't know how to stop it," Arteta, 41, said on Friday.
"It was a really emotional moment with everybody bouncing around and you lose sense of where you are and the space you have to be in.
"It was unfortunate as now I cannot be next to my team on the touchline but it is a decision that they make looking strictly at the rules."
The victory ensured Arsenal maintained their place at the top of the Premier League table.
Arteta said he did not want to stop showing emotion on the touchline.
"I would like to be with my players because we work closely every single day to achieve what we want, which is to win the games and when you get those moments in sport you should be able to do that," he said.
"I understand as well that there are certain boundaries and you have to respect that you are at an away ground but if I was given the chance I would be there jumping."
Arteta could face a further ban after he was charged by the Football Association for comments he made following Arsenal's 1-0 defeat by Newcastle in November.
The Spaniard called the video assistant referee's (VAR) decision to allow Newcastle's goal "embarrassing" and a "disgrace".
