Nations FC tactician Kasim Ocansey Mingle believes the departure of influential duo of Asamoah Boateng Afriyie and Michael Awuah Mensah will not have any effect on his team ahead of the new season.

The pair recently sealed a move to Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak following an impressive performance with the Abrankese-based club last season.

Boateng and Mensah were instrumental for Nations FC as they made a solid debut appearance in the Ghana Premier League. They placed seventh in the domestic top-flight last term.

The team were in contention for the Premier League but bottled the title latter part of the campaign following an unimpressive results.

Speaking in an interview, Kasim Mingle insisted the exit of the duo will not affect his team going into the new season.

“I’m sure the exit of Asamoah Boateng and Awuah Mensah will not affect us. We’ve got good replacement for them so we don’t have any problem” he said.

Nations FC are currently preparing for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign, which commences on September 6, 2024.

The Abrankese-based club has been playing friendly games as they gear up for the new campaign. They participated in the recently concluded Nsenkyire Cup competition held in Sameraboi, where Samartex clinched the title.
