Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko are steadily making headway in their bid to secure the services of Bofoakwa Tano captain, Saaka Dauda.

The forward is on the brink of leaving Bofoakwa Tano this window, with the Sunyani-based club valuing him at GHC200,000.

Dauda has attracted a lot of interest from clubs in the Ghana Premier League following his impressive performance last season.

The highly-rated attacker enjoyed a great season in the Ghana Premier League, scoring eight goals in 32 appearances.

Dauda was a key player for Bofoakwa Tano, who despite relegation to the lower division, reached the MTN FA Cup final before falling to Nsoatreman FC.

According to sources, the Porcupine Warriors are close to securing the signing of the in-demand forward in the ongoing window.

The Ghanaian giants are said to have agreed personal terms with the striker and very close of landing his services.

Despite reaching personal terms with the players, both clubs must agree on a fee before the sale of the forward.

Whiles Bofoakwa Tano demands GHC200,000 for the transfer of Saaka Dauda, Asante Kotoko wants to pay GHC150,000 for the acquisition of the player.

Meanwhile, both parties are expected to reach a consensus for the transfer of the forward this week.
