Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance against reigning champions Medeama, despite the match ending in a 1-1 draw.

The Ghana Premier League match week 28 game, played on Saturday at the Akoon Park, saw both teams displaying commendable skills on the field.

Ugandan striker Steven Muwala put Asante Kotoko in the lead in the 22nd minute. However, Medeama's Diawusie Taylor managed to equalize in the 57th minute from the penalty spot, ensuring a tense second half.

Speaking after the game, Ogum shared his thoughts on the team's performance. "I am convinced and happy about the way we played, especially in the first half. We took the game to them and created some chances in front of goal, one of which resulted in a goal," he said.

Ogum acknowledged that the team sat back in the second half, giving Medeama the opportunity to press and ultimately earn a penalty. However, he commended Medeama for their performance, noting that they were hungry for points and did not give up despite being down.
