Asante Kotoko sign Al Hilal defender Esmat Hassabalbagi on a year loan deal

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have confirmed the signing of Esmat Hassabalbagi Sudanese side, Al Hilal.
The left-back joined the Porcupine Warriors on a year-long deal with a club option of a permanent contract.

He becomes the second addition to the squad after the club confirmed the signing of striker AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman Yoouef Yagoub.
Kotoko are undergoing a rebuilding phase, having released over 22 players following a challenging season.
The Reds finished on the 6th position last season and will be hoping to improve their performance ahead of the new season.
The Sudanese forward might make his debut for Asante Kotoko in the Democracy Cup against Hearts of Oak on July 17, 2024.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko are expected to announce new faces ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana football season.
