Asante Kotoko touch down in Sudan ahead of Al Hilal clash on Sunday

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have arrived in Sudan ahead of their game against Al Hilal on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors touched down in Omdurman in the late hours Friday.

Coach CK Akunnor and the players as well as the officials of the team landed at the Khartoum International Airport at 03:20, having flown from the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport in Ethiopia at about 12 midnight East African time (EAT).

Kotoko will be lodging at the Corinthia Hotel Khartoum.

They are expected to train at the match venue on Saturday for the game on Sunday evening.

The game against Al Hilal is Kotoko's first group game in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ghanaian side are in the same group with Zambia side Zesco United, Nkana also from Zambia and Al Hilal of Sudan.
