Spanish La Liga giants, Barcelona have reportedly made Nico Williams a priority target in the summer transfer window.

The club not only failed to win the La Liga title this season but also could not reach the Uefa Champions League final to have a chance to win a trophy.

As a result of the unsuccessful season, the club has decided to bring in players to augment their squad for the 2024/25 football season.

Reports gathered from Spain indicate that Spain forward of Ghanaian descent, Nico Williams is one of the key players Barcelona wants to sign in the summer window.

The player has been one of the most exciting attackers in the Spanish La Liga this season.

Having played 28 games for Athletic Club in La Liga this season, Nico Williams has scored four goals and provided 10 assists in the process.

At age 21, the younger brother of Inaki Williams is valued at close to €60 million by his club.

As a result, Barcelona will need to raise money, possibly from player sales to be able to sign the young sensation.
