Bechem United coach Seth Osei lauded the performance of his players after securing a vital 1-0 win against league leaders FC Samartex in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The triumph marked Bechem United's return to winning ways in match week 20 of the 2023/24 season at the Nana Fosu Gyebour Park.
The only goal of the game came just three minutes in, thanks to a brilliant strike from Joseph Kinful, which ultimately proved to be the deciding factor. The hosts managed to hold on to their lead for the remainder of the match, ensuring they took all three points.
In a post-match interview, an elated Seth Osei expressed his admiration for his team's performance and their ability to maintain their composure throughout the game.
"If you watch the game we played well Samartex too played well but we did the most important thing scoring in the first half. I think I will congratulate the boys they have done well," Osei said.
Bechem United take on Legon Cities in their next league game in week 21.
