Bechem United part ways with coach Bismark Kobi Mensah

Ghana Premier League outfit Bechem United have reportedly parted ways with coach Bismark Kobi Mensah following an unimpressive result so far in the campaign.

The former Karela United tactician joined the Hunters before the start of the 2023/24 season, replacing Kasim Ocansey Mingle, who departed the club to join debutants Nations FC.

The Lemon-Greens outfit rediscovered their form after a sloppy start to the campaign, going ten games unbeaten along the line in the first half of the season.

They had high hopes in Kobi Mensah but their struggles for consistency have led to his departure from the club.

Bechem United are winless since the resumption of the Ghana Premier League, suffering narrow defeat to Nsoatreman FC in previous game.

While it remains uncertain who will replace Mensah, sources suggest that former Great Olympics coach Annor Walker could be a top candidate.

The Bechem-based club are currently on the ninth position with 26 points after 18 games, having won 7, drawn 5 and lost 6.

The Hunters will face league leaders Samartex this weekend under the guidance of an interim coach as they aim to get back on track.
