Berekum Chelsea draw 1-1 with Aduana Stars to remain top of the Ghana Premier League

Berekum Chelsea has recorded a 1-1 draw match with Aduana Stars this afternoon as they remain on top of the Ghana Premier League standings.

The high flying Blues have been outstanding since the 2019/2020 season of the Ghanaian top-flight started. The side went into today's match on the back of 4 wins and one draw, establishing themselves as the only unbeaten side in the ongoing campaign.

In a Match Week 6 fixture played at the Golden City Park today, they have extended that impressive run by earning a point from a one-all drawn game against Aduana Stars who also went into the matchday in the second position of the Ghana Premier League.

Just as experienced in Chelsea's last five matches, they started very well to try and get an early goal to upset the visitors. That plan worked to perfection when Stephen Amankonah found the back of the net.

A hard-fought battle from there on saw Aduana Stars restoring parity on the 86th minute courtesy a strike from Pious Asante Yeboah.

In line with that, Berekum Chelsea and Aduana Stars have shared the spoils at the end of the match and will keep their positions on the standings of the division at the end of the matchday.
