Bibiani GoldStars in talks with Hearts of Oak for the transfer of Benjamin Yorke

Ghana Premier League club Bibiani GoldStars FC have reportedly expressed interest in securing the services of former Samartex striker Benjamin Yorke from Hearts of Oak.

Despite being one of the top scorers for Hearts of Oak in the previous season, the 26-year-old's potential departure from the club has become a subject of discussion during the current transfer window.

Yorke scored four goals in 25 Ghana Premier League games in a season the Phobians struggled and only managed to avoid relegation on the final day of the season.

His impressive performances during his tenure with FC Samartex in the Division One League had raised expectations that he would address Hearts of Oak's attacking challenges.

The talks between GoldStars and the representatives of Benjamin Yorke are in progress, with both parties expected to reach an agreement.

While GoldStars aim to secure Yorke's services on a free transfer, they are also open to the possibility of a loan deal should Hearts of Oak decide not to terminate the player's contract.

York is reportedly deemed surplus to requirements at Hearts of Oak.
