Hearts of Oak midfielder, Salim Adams has underscored the importance of the win against Berekum Chelsea.
The talented midfielder featured for the Phobians on Wednesday when they locked horns with the Blues.
In a game played at Golden City Park, Hearts of Oak emerged as the better side and scored three goals to secure a big 3-0 win away from home.
Before the Chelsea game, the capital-based club had only won once in the last five games.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Salim Adams said the victory was a morale booster for the team.
“This win boosts our morale and we are looking forward to the next game. We are taking it one match after match,” Salim Adams said.
Following the victory over Chelsea, Hearst of Oak are now 11th on the Ghana Premier League table.
In the team’s next game, they will take on Aduana Stars in what will be a tough contest.
