Obuasi Ashanti Gold defender Richard Osei Agyemang has expressed confidence in the abilities of his side to beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko when the two clubs meet on Sunday, September 9, 2019, to battle for glory in the BK Adusei Foundation Cup.

The regional rivals are billed to lock horns in a mouth-watering encounter in memory of Benjamin Kyem Adusei (BK Adusei) formerly a Board Chairman of Asante Kotoko. He also served as the first Accra Representative for the club.

Ahead of the match, Ashgold defender Richard Osei Agyemang has noted that the Miners are ready for the Porcupine Warriors and will beat them at their own backyard.

“We are very ready for the game against Kotoko on Sunday in the BK Adusei Foundation cup”.

“We have the best players with the best striker who can score a hat-trick in less than 9mins in an African game”.

“Ashgold SC will win the BK Adusei Foundation cup on Sunday against Kotoko”, he said in an interview with Ashh FM.

He added, “The game would be nice and entertaining because we are coming to entertain the supporters who will come to the stadium on Sunday”.

“Justice Blay has his style of play as compared to James Akaminko but they are all good when it comes to the holding role”.

“I will entreat all the supporters to come to the stadium on Sunday to support the BK Adusei Foundation because it's a good initiative”.

The match will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with all gate proceeds going into the B. K. Adusei Foundation in aid of old players of Asante Kotoko.
