Black Maidens coach Baba Nuhu confident of qualifying team for India U-17 World Cup

The head coach of the u-17 women’s football team of Ghana, Baba Nuhu has shared that he is confident of qualifying the team to the 2020 FIFA u-17 World Cup.

The tournament scheduled to be hosted by India later this year has been pushed further forward because of the Coronavirus which has affected the dates for the qualifying matches.

Ghana after knocking out Liberia in the last round of the qualifiers will have Nigeria to face if FIFA announces the new dates for the qualifiers.

In a recent interview, coach for the Black Maidens, Baba Nuhu has shared that he is optimistic about qualifying the ladies to India.

“We have not gotten there if we get there definitely we shall. That is the ultimate aim of everybody, and so my predecessors did qualified so we are also to do well to beat anybody who comes our way to qualify but unfortunately this is the situation that we find ourselves”, the gaffer told Cape Coast-based Yes FM.
