Black Maidens skipper Mukarama Abdulai has expressed disappointment following their defeat to Cameroon on Tuesday.

Ghana lost 2-1 to Cameroon in a trial game in Sao Paolo. Ngah Manga Marie and Alice Kameni scored for the Cameroonians whiles Suzzy Dede Teye scored Ghana's only goal.

The game forms part of the team's preparations ahead of their participation at this year's FIFA U 17 Women's World Cup in Uruguay.

"I am very disappointed with the result because we played well and should have won the game," said Mukarama Abdulai

"We just have to learn from everything we have done during or time here and build on it going into the tournament." Ghana and Cameroon will both represent Africa at the 2018 FIFA U17 World Cup and the cooperation match was to help the two coaches to assess their teams ahead of the competition which begins this weekend in Uruguay.

The Black Maidens will open their World Cup campaign against hosts Uruguay on Saturday evening in Montevideo whiles Cameroon play USA in their Group C opener.

The Ghanaian contingent is expected to leave their training base in São Paulo on Thursday morning to continue preparations for the tournament in Montevideo
