Black Princesses coach Yussif Basigi urges Ghanaians to rally behind team ahead of 13th African Games opener

Yussif Basigi, the coach of Ghana's women's under-20 national football team, the Black Princesses, has issued a passionate plea to the Ghanaian populace, urging them to come out in their numbers and offer their unwavering support as the team prepares for the 13th African Games.

In an exclusive interview with GFA Communications, Basigi emphasized the significance of local support in boosting the morale and performance of the team on the field.

"We will count on Ghanaians support during this tournament. They should come to the stadium in their numbers and support us with prayers as well," he said.

The Black Princesses are set to commence their campaign against Ethiopia on Saturday, March 9th, at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

This encounter marks the beginning of their journey in Group A, where they will also face off against Tanzania and Uganda in subsequent matches.
