As the 13th African Games draw near, anticipation is mounting for the Black Princesses.

In a recent interview with GFA Communications, head coach Yussif Basigi highlighted the significance of including Mukarama Abdulai in the squad, citing her invaluable experience and the pressure on the team to deliver.

Mukarama Abdulai, a rising star in Ghana's Women's Premier League gained prominence for her exceptional skills and goal-scoring prowess.

Her inclusion in the Princesses' squad not only bolsters the team's talent pool but also brings a wealth of experience to the table.

Basigi emphasized the importance of Abdulai's presence, particularly in a prestigious tournament like the African Games, where her leadership and on-field performance are expected to be pivotal.

"There is no pressure when you have good players in the team even though the dynamics of the game keeps changing. I don’t have any pressure going into this tournament. We will take it one game at a time," he said.

"Mukarama’s inclusion is very good for the fact that aside her performance, she’s a team player and unifier as well as message conveyer. Her presence will motivate the players enough to work hard, she also brings experience to the team," he added.
