CAF Champions League: Medeama SC arrive in Tanzania to prepare for Young Africans reverse fixture

Ghanaian side, Medeama Sporting Club have arrived in Tanzania ahead of the clash against Young Africans in the CAF Champions League.

The Ghana Premier League Champions are keen on securing a win away from home to push their agenda to progress from the group stage.

Ahead of the midweek action of the reverse fixture in the tie, Medeama Sporting Club will have the chance to train in Tanzania later this evening and on Tuesday, December 19.

Then on Wednesday, December 20, Young Africans would play host to the Ghanaian Champions.

The first leg of the game in Ghana ended in a 1-1 draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

A win for Medeama SC in the Round 4 contest in Group D will see the team going top of the group standings temporarily.

Currently, the Yellow and Mauve outfit are second on the CAF Champions League Group D standings with four points.

Wednesday’s clash will be staged at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
